My husband has accused me of turning into a 70 year old knitting biddy. I take offense to this comment in sooo many ways. First I am far from 70 (don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with being 70). Second the biddy comment - what the hell is a biddy? I have made no comments about his hockey playing and the subsequent meetings (at the local tavern) that must take place in order to get the team in order. So why should it bother him if I sit in my chair most nights and knit for a couple of hours??

I become obsessed with a project and won't put it down until it's finished. The project De jour is Clapotis. I am knitting it with Blue Heron Beaded Rayon and it is yummy. I can't wait to finish so I can wear it. But never fear there are 4 other projects in the works also - a baby sweater for my friend Suzanne, a sweater for my darling husband, a sweater for my girlfriend, a adorable top for my daughter. Sweaters seem to be the theme here. I am going to start taking pictures and posting them as soon as I figure out how to do it. Back to my knitting I must go - husband is away at a hockey meeting!

Hey Ho! I see you've gone and done it ... start your blog that is. Good goin'.

What's up with the biddy stuff? Are we the antithesis of knitting biddies or WHAT?!?!? Sounds like the DH is a litt jealous of your stick time. Tell him to respect your knitting sticks and you'll show some -ahem - respect for his hockey stick!

So when's the next yarn ho down? Email me ... we've got plans to make!

Biddy? I think not! I've yet to meet a biddy who can slam down as much alcohol as you and still pick up the sticks.

I think hubby needs a good puck by a biddy!
